Attach hair clip or elastic to bow

Attaching a hair clip or elastic to one of our faux leather bows or glitter bows might be easier then you think.

Attach hair clip or elastic to bowTo attach hair clip or elastic to bow you will need

one faux leather bow

one lined hair clip or 9mm headband elastic

A paper clip if you are using elastic.

If you are using a lined hair clip open the clip and slide the clip under the loop at the back of the bow.  Then add a dab of hot glue to the back of the bow in front of the clilp.

Make sure the shiny side is facing the correct way before your feed the elastic through.  Now pull the elastic until your short end comes through.  Then glue the ends of your elastic together.  Feed the elastic back so the join will be at the back of your bow and glue to the back of the bow so it will not more and you will not see the join.

I thought I would try my hand at a video tutorial.  Must say I wasn’t to keen but anyway if you would like to check it out here it is.
